About Fred Castaneda
I happen to be a podcaster with 9 (yes, that's right...9) different podcasts. They range from instructional course material and audio narration of books as premium content within the system known as www.premiumcast.com, all the way to community service podcasts for disadvantaged veterans and combat veterans and Vietnam Veterans (I am one myself), as well as business podcasts like THE STRUGGLING ENTREPRENEUR, GAIN CONTROL OF YOUR DAY, and even some cultural podcasts in the fine arts like ARRIBA! FOLKLORICO MUSIC AND DANCE OF MEXICO.
From a professional career, I have served in Sales and Marketing with organizations like the Military (recruiting during a wartime environment), all the way to over 31 years as a Systems Engineer, Programmer, Marketing Support, etc., with IBM.
I am also the lead and organizer since 2008 of the Austin Podcasters Group, and I belong to the Austin Social Media Club, as well.
I have met Doug Welch at various Podcast Expos, Podcamps, and I have been following him as a subscriber for 3 years.
I look forward to contributing to others, and I hope to see this social network grow and thrive--and knowing Doug's enthusiasm and drive, I think it will.
