I am new to the Ning community, so I cannot comment further on the tool. I stumbled upon it through a link from another site....I believe Twitter, where I found this career opportunities link.
To your other question though, yes, I am seeking a career move. After 30-plus years in financial services, I am a current downsizing victim, so among other things, I launched KareerKit (http://www.kareerkit.com) as a possible option for a new business (I have extensive recruiting and development experience).
At the moment, KareerKit is purely a pro bono site because I am actively interviewing.....have one "hot" possibility and another "warm" possibility, thus my hesitancy about turning KareerKit into a "for profit" career counseling venture, i.e., I do not want to commit to offering services that I may not be able to deliver on in a few months.
Thanx for your interest..........Dennis
